Styles Not Showing Up In Display Window

as the title says, does anyone know why this happening... to implement certain styles, i have to go through the resources folder to the specific visual style i want and double click it... shouldn't they appear in the display properties, or am i not copying them to resources correctly...

e.g. shown in the screenshot is PantherSnow~Final style, the path is

C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\PantherSnow~Final\1PixelBorder\PantherS.msstyles

this is not the only one that is doing this, also i have Metallica and Metallica Snow that don't show up.

As far as I know, in order for the theme to show up automatically, the msstyles filename and the folder name must be identical. That is, the folder C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\PantherSnow~Final should contain the PantherSnow~Final.msstyles file. Check through your folders.
