WOW sorry im late to the scene, man i love this theme cant wait to get home from school so i can put it on my pc, yes im on the internet in class, i just got my test back and i got a B+ so i deserve a good slack off,
anyway i wanna help out in this theme, are there anymore Apps that need a NEOS skin to it? ill be happy to make one, not really known on here for my design skills, but im pretty good.
some things im thinking on doing are, (and no offense to anyone):
a better YZtoolbar skin
a better ATM skin
a Felix8 skin if there isnt one (might wait for Alilm's next release)
some custom png's for the dock if anyone has a special request for an icon that
they dont see anywhere (accepting all requests)
some good Wallpapers, special for NEOS, and some that are just black schemed
skins for all those other Finder clones out there, too many to name right now
all these will be done within the next few days,
i was thinkin in the future if there are enough skins for this that someone could make an installer pack for this stuff, maybe Pack, Flyakite, or Stefanka could help us out or give us some tips or atleast lead us in the right path or that.

Curently making a Neos skin for Ave Preview2. When I'm done I'll post it. If you like it I'll release it. Oh and don't forget about my About Finder skins. I think they go well with this theme as well..

yea i just got home and im now gonna start my skin frenzy for the NEOS suite, i think i should prolly download the VS atleast first 
things i will be working on first:
1 Wallpapers
2 Dock icon request (if anyone requests for any specific ones, com'on ppl heres ur chance!) 
3. ATM skin variations to suit everyones needs, i doubt if theres an official look from the real mac so ill just make different ones
i will not be doing:
yztoolbar skins, mainly cause there are good enough ones already now that i look at them closely
Felix8 skin, cause im waiting for Alilm to release his next version with all the good stuff put in, 3 panel viewing, right clicking thats usable, all that stuff, and i dont wanna waste time in a skin that wont be used cause its old
the rest of stuff ill get to after,
also if theres any other apps that i dont know about that u ppl use ill make skins for them also, im not the best in the technical side of all these apps im just a designer, so if theres some app i cant skin all just post my images for sum one else to use who knows about it.

Check out the front post to see what has already been modded and what hasn't. I do believe that Flarex indicated that he would be working on a skin for FireFox but I have no idea how it's turning out.
Perhaps PM him or something if you're going to give FireFox a go.

These sounds good. In fact, I think the part about the dock icons will be wonderful. We haven't exactly have enough icons around for the dark themes yet, less to say NEOS, which is less dark and a little glowly.
If posssible, an icon suite will be heavenly. But it will be lots of work... >.
im not too sure about a dock icon suite all at once, maybe as i collect them they can be made into one, as for right now are there any request for apps or filetypes that u wanna see made neos?
as of right now im working on my first NEOS wallpaper.
Also if you can just supply me with some NEOS buttons, all different kinds, and maybe some other images from the skin, that would be great, just to get the real feel of the theme for my wallpaper.
ok the first wallpaper is done, i kept it very simple, cause simple is nice, next wallpaper will be a bit more complex.
the preview doesnt really show all the details of it, you really have to look at it in full view.

i think thats it for wallpapers for me, should focus on skins which is more important.
i dont kno where to start tho, i cant seem to get StyleXP working so i can intall the VS. i keep getting a WMI stopped working error message and when i do get StyleXP working it wont load the VS it would just freeze.
if i get the a fixed uxtheme.dll i still dont kno how to apply a .msstyles inside windows itself, since it doesnt have a .theme included with the neos VS. can sum one please help me with this ? i cant really skin anything for a suite that i cant even get to look at first hand.
You just have to double click a Visual Style and the Display Properties pops up ( if you have a modded uxteme.dll) tthen click apply.
BTW, for those who don't know Style XP modds your uxtheme.dll that's why you can use other Visual Styles.

Ok figured it out and am using the VS now, looks great, only thing is on the buttons alot of them are dark but with dark text, so u can hardly see them, if they where in white they would be visible and look much better, (im speaking to the author of NEOS VS of course)
