There must be a regedit tweak- to change the fontcolor.
yes, please release it even if you cannot fix the dialog fontcolor. it looks too good not to release.

Yeah I couldn't release monochrome port because of stupid dialog text color. :rant: I don't know, maybe you can somehow change it in reshacker or something.
You can't seem to change it in anything.
Stef: Ask at virtual plastic, they know a lot about reshacking and the registry.
Most of the important text can be changed but it's the descriptions and stuff that can't.
If i change the Theme in Windows Classic-Contrast-black. Than is changed all dilogboxtextcolor.
There must be a way. <_<
Hmm, interesting. I've looked at control.ini (where the classic theme settings used to be) and it's empty.
Does any know where the classic themes settings files are in XP?
The variable we need should be in that. I'm going to try finding the variable in 3DCC, I'll add if I find it.

We need a way of forcing the colour of text in dialog boxes to another colour. Currently Visual Styles don't affect certain parts of the windows interface which means it's impossible to do a usable black or dark coloured theme properly.

I don't know, I think Stef's still looking. I'm going ahead with SSBlack because I use a dark grey but jet black uses black and is completely impossible to see the text.
how about using skin studio to make it work.. It might just have more options for the settings... Just an idea

Stylebuilder only has a few things it knows you can add to element styles and it doesn't even know which one they do nothing for anyway.
Stylebuilder is incredibly basic when it comes to making visual styles. It's just reshacker with PNG support basically.
Weird, I can get dialog box not to be black on black on Noir dark theme but not so in Monochrome port I was working on. No clue what I did differently between the two as well, both started base off luna. Like Stefanka he made the Black Theme in 6pack work but he cant get this in Jetblack port to work, very strange. :rant:
