...but i've just got into the whole turning win-into-mac thing. I've downloaded WinMac but there seems to be so much more to do.
Could anyone recommed the best downloads for a beginner? the essentials really. all i'm after is replacement icons, sounds and the other general stuff to make it look like a Mac. Thanks in advance to anyone who helps
Icemans site has some system file resources for switchng your GUI as well as either Object Dock, Yz Dock , Icemans dock Your pick on those I personally am a fan of object dock.
As far as Icons go just take alook around this site and you should find plenty of links.

Ok, get a dock program (Object Dock, Y'z Dock, Mobydock)
msstyles(if youre in XP) or WindowBlinds to change your window styles
ObjectBar instead of winmac, much more versitile
but you have to pay for the useful features. all thats inclueded in the public version is the useless stuff.
