What The Hell ?

Probably my problem was already discussed but I cannot dind an answer here noe at AQUAXP. This program needs 95% of my CPU Power and my computer is actually quite fast. So what can I do about it ? I already changed the quick time "sound out - wave out" thing, so it`s probaly not that.

Need a hint :(

what the hell are you talking about

#118989

ITUNES !!!

#118998

you should said that in the first place

for the mac, for the pc. You posted in the mac linux section and you didnt mention the program in the post so i wasnt sure.

I'm gonna assume you are talking about itunes for the Pc. This is common, you have to go into the itunes preferences and turn off some of the options.

things like volume adjuster etc etc etc.

Sorry about the missing details ! It`s a PC problem but I tried out what you just said and it doesn`t work any faster. I already updated Quick Time, but still nothing changes.

alright im at my pc now, go into preferences>effects uncheck crossfade playback, sound enhancer and sound check

turn off look for shared music and share my music under the sharing tab

close itunes and restart. Also check to see if it is actually itunes using all the cpu and not one of the services for itunes

other than that, maybe a resintall of the program

Thanx for your support but I tried out just what you said and it won`t work. I also uninstalled it rebooted and installed it again which didn`t fix the problem either. And it`s not a service problem !Very, very weird program <_

you provoced a buffer overflow, now he's on 100% CPU... <_<

well, I guess it's another program interfering with iTunes. maybe a sound-plugin which makes iTunes subroutines getting stuck somewhere. but actually I have no idea...
