Hy i use Yz dock and like it, i have 12 icons on it, and everytime i pull the mouse over the dock my system get an cpu usage of 97% what can that be?
My System
P4 2,667 Ghz
512MB DDr-Ram 400
256MB Nvidia Gerforce FX 5600
last Nvidia drivers
and Windows Xp SP1
my system should be fast enough to handle this but it dosn´t.
yup, that's very high. have you tried changing the settings to low?
This happened to me once, cant remember if it was with YzDock or another dock I was using, but it ended up bieng the dock background, maybe change the background, just to see if it is that?
If they're not already, get all your dock icons into PNG format.
this is a common occurance
noone has less then 60% CPU usage when they scroll over the dock.
even Mac OS uses alot of CPU for their dock.
it just comes with the territory
(new-bs are so cute when they're...new)
but yeah, pngs or icons only affect memory
also, since you are obviously new to the dock, you also need to know it will flicker during movies and games and that it can steal focus sometimes.
