I have change everything:apply Stef`s system files, login and now the only thing left is boot screen. How can I change it ( already downloaded some from theme.org)?

Please answer, can I use "replacer" for boot screen? If not what software is best for it?

You don't need replacer, just download a login screen that you find, start windows in safe mode and simply copy it to the system32 folder, the login file is called logonui.exe. replace it and your good to go. I use a program I found somewhere called Login Loader, it was completly free and changes the login screen without restarting or anything. I'm sure if you search around, you can find something similar.

i guess mr. big is talking about a "boot screen", not a "logon screen". so it must be something about the "ntoskrnl.exe". long time ago we had here a fantastic boot screen. this gray screen with the little white apple in the middle (guess no-one managed to apply the throbber-thing under it, still) but this was long time ago, and the prob is, that some ms-updates overwrite this thing by updating the system.

would be supercool if we would have this boot screen for the actuall systemfiles (with the throbber-thing) ;)

oops, my bad. Sam steps thou for replacing the ntoskrnl.exe. With boot screens, they are different if you have SP1, so make sure it says it's for SP1 or not for SP1.

Here's the bootscreen I use.

Recycle Bin Boot screen
