Sorry, the only thing I seem to read are Almanacs and Encyclopedias. Seriously.
Well i don't know if it counts but I loved Bram Stokers Dracula and even better we watched Interview with the vampire on a very pleasant evening with lot's of red wine.. just GREAT we could almost taste the movie... that was horror at it's finest if you ask me..
But if you mean chainsaw action, ripped of body parts, lotsa blood and all that.. sorry not in to that..

Hey, Soleemulator, check out Roger Zelazny's "A Night In The Lonesome October." You'll dig it - it has lots of playful nods to older horror staples.
the body politic by clive barker is a fav. of mine.
basically, the main character's body parts revolt and try to obtain freedom from him.
such a good allegory of the unavoidable tragedy of being a society.
man, that sounds awesome realitybath....gonna look for that one.
