What does the US flag do? On the Mac it changes your OS language so then it changes to the flag of where the language came from.

The flag do nothing. everyone shuld choose his own flag or the one he likes. It is JUST to LOOK GOOD !

Anyway you can remove the icons you want easily

Unfortunately the battery icon doesn't work right now. I use a desktop.

My main goal is the visual stuff looks like the original. But I don't think it will be very difficult to implement a real function to it.

Availabilty: Til now this bar (all the graphics are totally new)

is made over MageGuru architecture. If he gives permission it wil be available Now !. In other case you will have to wait til I made my own architecture

I would like to ask for customization, though. I.e. I am German, I would like to change the language (maybe really the flag icon? using different files in whichthe language info is stored??).

Any chance this could be implemented?

As MageGuru don't give permission you will have to wait a little guys.

I will include some flags to choose ( including german one)

but I have no plans to make other languages cause it is a LOT of work. sorry
