[wip] Opera Skin

Hi everyone, I've started to mod Opera, and this is my first skin setup which isn't finished yet.

I still have work to do, and one thing that is annoying me a lot :rant: is the fact that i cannot open opera.exe with reshacker because it pops up a message saying that "...EXE Compression..." **** ...

Anyway I have more ideas to add on such as the icon/opera title bar mods, but can't do it...

Does someone know a way to open it?

In opera6 I know that can be done...mine is 7.23 for the record...

feel free to suggest any other mod to my skin...

As I said there: I dont see the need of using reshacker in Opera when you can change everything with simple text files.

Hi everyone, sorry for the late, late, reply, but my WINDOWS got screwed up!! the msgina.dll, simply just failed to load...wondering why...???

now i have to restart all over again...I can't believe it. :rant:

But, I still saved my files, I bought another HDD, installed a clean XP, put them together partitionated and now they are all there again

Including all the setup of Opera that I had made...this was a relief...

I thank you all for the nice comments, and suggestions, I'm glad you like!

If you want a release of this skin, give me just a few days to put my comp in order, then it's yours!!

...I just have one problem, I don't have a domain to host it...

[four days without my comp, seem to me like a month, finally it's good to be back, and with just one thought in mind....never giving up!!]

Actually I'm already a Opera community member, so the problem with the host domain is resolved.

Just need to finish it, and that won't take much long!

On a side note - could someone please tell me how to change the opera icon inside opera.exe? I know that the exe file is aspacked, but even after unaspacking it, I couldn't open the resource with ResHacker.

I don't know the way to change the icon in opera.exe, so just add an icon path to operadef6.ini under [user Prefs] like this:

[user Prefs]

Application icon=blah\blah-blah\opera\safari.ico

Hi, the link to the screenie is updated, I was able to make the address field straight instead of rounded corners, and still have the search field that way, more safari look :naughty:

Hi opera mod lovers, I've been very busy this days and that's why I didn't reply earlier!

The skin is almost finished and is coming very soon, just need to make a better look on the tabs and need new scrollbars, to make the set complete...
