[help] Fix Y'z Shadow Corner

Hi,

I'm using a theme that has rounded corners for the bottom of the windows and I'm using Y'z Shadow for shadows and the shadows don't conform to the rounded corners. My question is: How do I fix the shadow corners so they're nice and round?

Thanks,

Nando

You have to set the shadow offset to about 4-5 in the options.

Excellent. It worked! Thanks!

By the way, why isn't there a shadow when I use iTunes? Is that normal?

Yes it is normal. Y'z Shadow can't shadow itunes. It's because itunes is using a borderless type of window that Y'z can't shadow and it can't force borderless windows to have a shadow.

Oh, bummer.

Thanks a lot, though.

acedriver I am 90% agree with you, after playing a whil with "Copy" and "Past" between my 2 desktop screenshot (one form OSX 10.3 and the other form XP), I suggest this settings for YzShadow

[GENERAL]
LANGUAGE_FILE=French.lang
[WINDOW_GENERAL]
SIZE_MOVE_HIDE_SHADOW=1
INNER_OFFSET=3
SHADOW_SAME_ACTIVE=0
EXCLUSION_LIST_CLASSNAME=WMPlayerApp
EXCLUSION_LIST_EXENAME=D:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe
[WINDOW_ACTIVE]
ALPHA=180
TOP_OFFSET=0
LEFT_OFFSET=10
RIGHT_OFFSET=10
BOTTOM_OFFSET=18
COLOR=0
[WINDOW_INACTIVE]
ALPHA=130
TOP_OFFSET=0
LEFT_OFFSET=5
RIGHT_OFFSET=5
BOTTOM_OFFSET=6
COLOR=0
[MENU]
MENU_TRANSPARENT=1
START_MENU_NO_TRANSPARENT=0
ALPHA=245
MENU_FADEIN=1
SHADOW=0
VISUAL_STYLE_STARTMENU_SHADOW=1
SHADOW_SAME_ACTIVE=1
[TASKBAR]
SHADOW=1
SHADOW_SAME_ACTIVE=0
MOVE_OVERLAP_WINDOW=0

The only things that change is the alpha level and top border adjustement ;)
