Phoenix Or Mozilla?
they are the same, basically. Phoenix is based on mozilla. Phoenix is more "light" than mozilla, which is bigger. Phoenix has a better interface, it is up to you, try both, you're not loosing anything in trying, so give the try to both.

Phoenix has a great Safari skin, if you care. Mozilla has AquaMOZ, which is aqua style.
I use Phoenix because it starts up quicker. Mozilla takes a while to start up.
They both use the same amount of memory, so thats not important.
Phoenix has: Popup Blocker, Cookie Password and Download Manager, and has a Google search bar (which mozilla cant have).
Personally, These were the only features I used in Mozilla anyway, so Phoenix was the obvious choice for me.
Both are much better than IE (had to throw that in)

im having trouble getting phoenix to install the theme, at the phoenix theme site i just click and it asks if i want to install the theme.. But your link opens up a whole lotta code and not the theme 
any help?

When you get a page full of code, you can: File > Save page as - and correct the extension after saved.
You might see something like whatever.zip.php - just delete the .php and all is well.
Right now, i use mozilla. But thats only because when using Iceman's VS v1.0 (v2 is good, but i like his old one better!) and phoenix together, you get these horribly ugly scroll bars. I dont know why and I wish i could be told how to fix it, but unfortunately, I dont. If i could fix the ugly bars I would prolly use Phoenix.

I gave up lol and went with the chimera theme, it goes better with my comp at the moment anyways 
Guys, just do this.
1) Right click on one of the two links
2) Click "Save Link As"
3) add the extension .jar the file after downloading it.
4) Go into Phoenix then Tool>Preferences>Themes and Extensions
5) Theres a tiny button at the bottom of the Preferences windows that says "Install jar theme". Click on this button and find the Safari file.
5) Let it install, click it in the list, and wa la!
Ok, ive got the themes installed, but in any phoenix theme I try, the scrollbars are overly wide
Anyone else have this difficulty?? or a solution?
while we're on the subject of pheonix, is it possible to remove the seach box which is on the right of the address bar? or is it possible to move the search bar above so its on the same line as file,edit,view,go etc?

YES! It is possible to remove the Search box AND move it to the same line as File, Edit, View, etc... Simply click View>Toolbars>Cutomize. While in this custimization mode, simply grab the Search box and move it to the same line as File, Edit, View, etc... or drag it into the box that appeared below the address bar. This area if for Icons you dont want.

I have Phoenix installed because of the great skin, unfortunately it isn't happy with my mouse utils or middle button scrolling which is a pisser. Of all the browsers I've tried none really do all I want them to do, and so the search continues.....
now.. if only object bar would support phoenix, then that be awesome!
btw guys, editing the css file, you can customize alot of the browser.
btw, my scrollbars dont skin for phoenix, im using smoke's jaguar theme for wb. any 1 having this prob?
Hey all, Besides the fact that I'm not using a brushed VS so I'm not going to get the "Full Effect", i think ive made mine look pretty accurate. I mainly use the one I call the "Functionality Screen Shot" because it has all the buttons I normally use, but the "Accurate Screen Shot" is really close to looking like Safari. So here they are:

I have fixed the problem with the double wide scrollbars, but it is Iceman's theme so....................he hangs out here huh?

Phoenix is really great! Who would have thought it would be so much faster from IE and Mozilla! 
It has a good skinning community and so far so good! I'm using Mac IE 5 skin and it looks fantastic

I like pheonix though I don't like how you can't move the menubar to the objectbar in it. You can't do that with Mozilla either. They don't seem to use standard menubars.
BTW, ZzPCzZ, it don't skin for me either. It's probably going to be fixed in WB4 though. Mozilla scrollbars get skinned BTW.
