Minimise To Tray App.

I need a program that will let me minimise any program to the system tray.

I've found a few but none that meet the following criteria:

1. Need's to be free. I have no £ atm, and all the programs I've found are $20+ which IMO is not GVFM.

2. I need it to work on a mouse click, or similar, not by adding buttons next to the close, maximise etc. buttons, as they don't show up due to Windowsblinds.

So far the best app I've found is All To Tray which you ctrl+click on minimise to send it to the system tray, but it is too expensive for what it does.

Anyone help?

Or maybe one of you kind developer types could write me one? :D

Reason I need it is because I have an auto-ftp program running permanently on my PC, but it's annoying having it in OD all the time, so I want to minimise it to the tray and keep it out of my way :)

P.S. mods - I wasn't sure which section to put this in, so please move it if necessary :)

i found one called traysaver... it's

1--free (Y)

2--doesn't add any buttons next to the min/max/close... it adds an option on the menu (restore, move, minimize, etc.) to minimize to tray. there's also an options menu to make rules for specific apps (e.g. always minimize to tray firefox) i didn't see anything that let it make it always minimize to tray for all apps.

here's the link to it, though:

it says it's for 95/98/NT, but worked fine for me in xp home.

TrayIt!

"TrayIt! allows to save precious Taskbar space for minimized windows. For each application which applies TrayIt! it creates a small icon in the System Tray. (System Tray area is located near the Clock). When application's window is minimized this icon represents the application on the Taskbar instead of the regular "minimized rectangle".

It is particularly useful for background tasks you typically keep running on your PC all day long like your favorite E-mail client, Real Player, etc."

I use it all the time, great app
