Deleted Posts

Just a thought, but would it be possible to have an autmated system where when a members post is deleted they receive a pm notifying them.

Reason for this, is that I swore I posted in a thread, and then it was gone, noe either it was deleted, or i never hit the submit button. So I posted again.

So as for my suggestion it would cut down on situations like this.

Not like an explanation or anything, just a little automated pm notifying the user that a post was deleted.

soooo whatcha think.

this is already our policy when it comes to deleting posts. its not automated but the mods/admins do do it to my knowledge.

I, for one, always either PM or make it known in the thread when I'm "deleting" posts, but I never actually delete them, I move them to the "Deleted" forum...

@Timmie - you wanna break out the log files? <_<

See I just deleted Myuu.EXE post because I felt it was not needed.

Either your post was removed because it was not supposed to be there or the mod felt you did something bad. But usually you get a pm, but not always. There might be a mod for it but I'm just afraid of modding the forums because that means problems with 2.0 comes out :/

Could you explain what thread this was in?
