Still In Development?

I don't mean to pester the developers, and if the mods feel that is what this post is doing, then that wasn't my intention and you can feel free to delete it and/or yell at me.

That being said, there are a few apps that haven't been updated in over a month, and I'm simply curious as to whether or not they're still being developed or not. If they aren't, fine - I hope that their developers can simply tell us, and that the rest of you are able to survive without throwing a hissy fit at them for not completing them. It's just very frustrating waiting for something that may or may not ever be finished.

So here are the apps that I'm wondering about:

- Ade Shell Replacement by redvex81rq (last we heard from him was Jan 10. He was going through a "bad period" with exams, and had also lost part of the project when his PC went ape)

- Address Book by Jib (PixelMatrix commented in Jib's forum that Jib has gotten a new job, is very busy and has had little time to code, but we haven't heard anything from Jib since December. This isn't too bad, since this app is as-good-as-done anyways)

- Safari for Windows by Jib/PixelMatrix (the development page hasn't been updated since December 19, and the last Safari-related post by either was on Jan 12th. PixelMatrix commented in Jib's Address Book topic that he himself has also "gone in a new direction")

Hope I didn't upset anyone too much with this post.

Chameeleon:

As a developer myself I know that there are certain periods when you just dont have the time to update the code or check in with the forums. Im sure this is the case with most of the projects. (But dont quote me on that one)

I'm sure they will uupdate you when they have the time.

Topic Closed.

If developers are going to inform you of progress, they'll inform you of progress.

If there's been no progress for any reason (or they want to keep the progress under wraps), then they won't.

This is bound to turn into a developer-bashing thread.
