Upgrading My Old Powerpc 7100

Hey,

I have this old powerPC 7100 that i want to upgrade to a g3, how would i go about doing that. (all i want to do is run panther!,)

It is possible but it will run extremely slow. There's a few reasons for that

1. Maximum 136mb ram

2. It's bus speed is slow so it will unlikely run on any upgrade card faster than 233mhz at full capacity.

So it's not really worth the money since g3 upgrade cards are expensive but it's up to you.

You can always get an eMac for 800 USD. They are considerably cheap for being Mac, and are quite nice.
