Hi guys, I'm here to bring to you the new version of PowderMount.
here you can see the shoot:
new features:
- display files and folders counting
- display used space amount
- accept carriage return
Naturally, bugs and problems on this forum.

all right i just tried it, it rox really, but i have a request:
would it be possible to add the features you have for the LABEL FORMAT in the shortcut docklet?? so that i can have a shortcut to "my documents" that leads to it and show me how many files and folders i got... it would be great!!!!!

%d - Show the drive letter in lowrcase
%D - Show drive letter in uppercase
%n - Show drive volume label
%f - Show (and format) the amount of drive's free space
%t - Show (and format) the amount of drive's total space
%u - Show (and format) the amount of drive's used space
%F - Show the number of files in the drive's root folder
%C - Show the number of directories in the driver's root folder
%# - Add new line in the label
is it a stupid question to ask for the tag "space before %"? for example: in "free disk space" a space between the numbers and teh "GB" text.

if you digit manully the path in the drive combobox, you can use it like a shortcut desklet, as I'm my screenshot for windows folder .

yes I know the "problem". Actually the translation for bytes, megab and giga it's coded in the dll, but I can keep it in mid for a next version.

In my version the path is limited to 10 char, so i cant set up:
D:\Mes Documents\
it's cut to
D:\Mes Doc
and it doesn't work 
can you fix it ?? (i'm sure you can )

Indeed, I have already made it! Moreover I have fixed some bug that has been warned on AXP.
News: for a shortcut use, I've added a text field where you can specify your path.
Download here the fixed desklet.

A SUGGESTION TO IMPROVE THE DESKLET
Set up 2 different label if possible (on mouseover) it would be great
More options in the "on click behaviour":
- Launch an EXPLORER and not a "browse window" (with folder tree)
- for the CD drives, detect audio cd and on click launch a player...
these are just suggestion, the label one would be great, the option to have the folder tree is just a command to change i think it's easy for you? the last suggestion is just for fun :naughty: to see if you really rox :smartass:

This is how mine is setup.
Select drive letter: g:\
or path: G:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\BF1942.exe +game DesertCombat +restart 1
when i put that. i cant right click on the desktop, and it doesn't respond to my left click.
I guess it is not compatible with exe's yet?
oh well its great for other things, its just the shortcut that comes with avedesk, wont let me link it to bf1942 [ desert combat ] either.

I can't get your problem...
If you want to point to a folder or a drive, you can use powdermount; if you want to point to a program or a web link or other command, you cant use shortcut desklet. 
maybe that I've not understand your request...

Ok nvm about your desklet, when i try to link to a exe with the shortcut desklet that comes with avedesk [ i have the right params and everything] but it doesn't respond when i click on it, i click and nothing happens, but if i link it to say ventrilo [ just another exe app ] it works.
i love this, thank you very much...
now for a question i am wondering if it is possible to show how large a folder is in MB or GB with this lets say c:\program files\my stuff is 128megs can it show it's size on the label
any help would be great,
and may i say again how much i love this.
