Ibook

I do the usual chatting and web browsing - but I also do designing in Dreamweaver and Photoshop. I'd also need a CDRW drive. (Unless you can find me a 'fell off the back of a truck discount' iPod )

Any idea for estimated (lowest) stats & (lowest) price for a decent iBook?

OR would it be a better idea to just get a PC laptop for cheap?

The lowest end iBook (800MHz G4, 256MB RAM, ATI mobile Radeon 9200, Combo Drive) for $1,100. You won't pay any less unless you buy a refabricated iBook. Apple has a tight rope around the prices of theie prices. To check other out, look at Apples online store http://store.apple.com

I've bought my iBook G4 1Ghz 14.1" 256Mb DDRRAM, 60GB HDD, ATi Radeon Mobility 9200, etc etc... and I paid a hell lot more... 2500 USD.

But I'm in Argentina, of course...
