Fer, could you upload address bar round corner images at least? Please

There are many opera skin structures out there, so if you'll use the rounded corners in one of my skins or in a skin you are making but with my structure, it'll be ok (otherwise you need to edit skin.ini)

here is the folder containing the images:edit.zip I fixed them to the maximun, but you allways have to deal with the program limitations......

I Like the crema skin but, there are some things which are not really good.

Here some screenshots

The round fields don't show everything

yes, I said that in a post above and a many times before: "Opera will not allow you to specify what is skinned and not skinned".

This is an emulation forum, not everything work at 100% of their functionalities.

You allways have to give up some functionality in the name of visual appearance.

The visual appearance could be everything for Apple 'developers', and nothing for Opera developers.

The only intention of these skins is to mimic safari browser. These are not the right skins to change the layout to your taste (there are thousands of skins at the Opera website to do that)

Or It's not difficult to change the resources between the skins, for example:

-the rounded text fields are located in the "Edit" folder inside the skin.zip archive.

-All the toolbar buttons are located in "2nice" folder

-the background is a file called "tile_top.png" inside Window folder

-All the little icons are png images inside "small_buttons" and "icons" folders

-Tabs inside "Tab_button" folder

-Scrollbar inside "scrollbar_knob" folder

Remember: Opera takes the font sizes from windows so you have to edit the display properties/appearance/advanced to adjust them (@franziose: I can see in your screenshots that you don't have the right font size for the addressbar and it's not located in the Main Bar).

thank you

it's looking very nice indeed. fer, do you know how to solve the problem of broken rounded add/search fields? I thought it was through editing font sizes in Opera preferences, but nothing has worked. In this picture:

Are you saying that those broken edges are due to size of the current Windows theme font?

Yes

1- About broken rounded fields: to solve the problem you have to edit your current windows theme -display properties/appearance/advanced- the size for message box there, has to be 8. This change will be reflected when you close opera and restart it with this value changed (I always use Lucida Mac 8 for message box, i'm not sure about another font). this way the rounded address bar will be perfect. Try it

2-Again: Opera will use those rounded fields inside the pages, forms, every text field will be rounded. What I do is change the skin with something standard when i have to fill forms -right click in the main bar, change the skin, fill the forms and change again-

Thanks a lot, Fer :)

mind you, i don't use opera.

but dammit, franziose's avatar completely made it worth opening this thread.

Fer, is there absolutely no way to leave address and search bars corners rounded but have nomal (i mean square) text fields? I tried, but i gave up: address bar is perfect, but page looks like crap because of those forms.
