Print Sound

Does anyone have the sound that happends when you print something on Jaguar and Panther. If you can get it for me please format it into a .wav

I guess he wants to use it in his sound scheme. so it plays it when a print completes.

Sorry but this isn't the one, ok if you have a friend that has a mac go over to his/her house and if they have a printer open a word processer and type something print it and there will be a sound.

On a mac the sound isn't after it is printed it is before it is printed

OK... When you go to File -> Print -> OK then it will make an xylaphone like sound before it prints

maybe you are all thinking of 'burn complete' which is a sound in OS X

but the xylophone is just the default tone

Indeed, you can use the one you want because it is used as system alert sound to warm you about the end of spool process and the begining of the printing process, at least in Panther. In my case I use "submarine" sound as alert sound. But, that only happend with a couple of apps, not all apps generate a sound when printing spool is done, and I don't know why :blink:

Maybe your friend use a third party app, for example, Xsound by Unsanity Soft. This utility let you customize the sound schema in the system and list a wide selection of process that you can give a sound, btw its really nice. I used the demo version but I can't bougth it I have not momomoney at all

Could you send the sound to me? The Burn Complete one.

2uso: Every Mac I have Used has had an xylaphone type sound it is a sound that comes with OS X it isn't with a program this is where i always hear that sound like if you are in a program and go to About Word or something it makes that sound and also can i have the link to Xsound
