As some of you might now, there is a new browser by apple, called Safari, which is powered by the Konqueror engine. Apple will make some enhancements, and ofcourse will help the community of Konqueror with it. It is supposed to be that Safari is more faster than Microsoft Internet Explorer.

I was sadden by all the flaming and politics going on in that KDE group. How sad. They should be happy that there is co-operation between a company that makes closed source software and the open source community and that company is making contributions back to the OSS community. 
i think users should be able to choose what software and platform they want to run. I see nothing wrong with running open source software on a closed source OS or closed source software on a open source OS. BTW, in case anybody did not know this, the linux kernel is not GPLed, the stuff surrounding it like the GNU commands are.
