Aqua-Soft Forumsokay ive just downloaded the msn messenger docklet, how do you get it to work? and does it show you when you receive emails?
Msn Messenger Docklet
The msn docklet only lets you set your status of msn messenger, not check yout mail.
Look for a mail docklet.
by the way what dock are you using?
im using object dock.

well for me it was easy to get to work u need to have the following:
-windows messenger 4.7
-(uninstall msn messenger if u have it installed)
-sp1
add the docklet to the dock and it will open windows messenger now close the dock.
if u have sp1 installed u should be able to remove windows messenger. go to control panel>add or remove software and then go to add/remove windows component and uncheck windows messenger. now installed msn messenger open the dock and it should be working.

I am getting a more serious error. I can't even add the docklet to the objectbar without getting it to crash. The docklet is unzipped in the docklets folder, I'm running MSN 6.1, ObjectDock 1.0 build 285 and I do have Messenger Plus installed however whether the process is running or not I still get an error. Is there something I'm missing?
did u installed windows messenger?
I had to use Windows Messenger 5.0 but I got it to work. Thanks for the explanation above, it works fine now.
so, you have to have SP1 to get it to work? 
i guest yeah if you want to remove windows messenger and use msn messenger, is up to you 
I have one problem.
Every item in the popup menu of the msn messenger docklet is running ok, except the "Appear Offline".
When I click it, although the icon of that docklet changes, the actual status of my msn does not change at all.

that happens to me sometimes i just restart the ojectdock.
