Mac Os X Vrs. Windows Xp

I am a Windows XP user and I am starting to get sick of it, and am thinking about Macs. I want to know everything! How easy is Mac OS X, is it better.

Post whats better/worse/same and help me decide in any way possible!

Thanks and why are Macs considered faster than PC's? Why do Mac's have 2Ghz and PC's 3.2Ghz, and Macs are still considered faster? Is it the type of processor? Dish out your brains and give me every little detail about Mac's vrs. Windows! (Y)
