i believe you my flurry screensaver didnt work on my hewlett packard but the one that i built had the right graphics driver and it ran smooth not even my solar wind and all the other screensavers ive been running from that sight are choppy too for some time work only windows default 
I've posted the link to all the other screensavers somewhere in these boards before.
Goto Really Slick Screensavers for them. 
I think they are in alot of linux distros also.
chris, I don't get what you mean...... did you make a new screensaver based on this one or a new computer?, because I can't run flurry screensaver neither. <_

Mm, easily some of the nicest screensavers around.. Shame their Plasma is has like a one frame per two seconds rate, even on 1.7GHz laptop. >.<
