Aqua-Soft Forumshey, in trillian is there a way to turn off the annoying thing where trillian makes you switch to trillian if you recieve a message and you are using another program, it's beginning to get annoying

i have no idea what your talking about.
he talking about auto focus (no pun intended) the fuction where if you get a message while lets say browsing. when a buddy sends you a message the window pops up with your typing cursor ready for you to send a message.
He wants to turn that fuction off so he can not be typing half of a topic in a chat window when auto focus kicks in.
I think it has nothing to do with trillian check your advanced>>>>>>Performance setting to see if you can turn it off there or if you have Power Toys on your system (XP) I think its can be turned off there...hoped that helped.
oh is that what he's talking about you can just have trillian autominimize the new im windows or just have it send to tray either way it should come up to the front..
in your pref>windows>initial>autominimize window(check that box)
that should fix your problem
i know about the auto-minimize thing, but if it isn't minimized it does the auto focus thing, and i don't have the Advanced option in trillian >.
