2 Be On Top Or Not 2 Be On Top

Just curious, do you guys prefer the dock to be always on top?

I hate it when the icons are sort of overlapping with my current say, I.E window.

But if you untick 'Always on Top', the dock is visually gone from the desktop when u click on the 'Show Desktop' icon.

Is there a way to create a shortcut to "Minimise all Windows" instead of "Show Desktop" ?

I know we can use WindowButton + M to do this, but does someone know how to create a shortcut icon for that?

Yes Yes I know,

what I meant is the icon like the "Show Dekstop" icon that does the same thing.

(So instead of WINDOWBUTTON + M, I want to click on an icon on my taskbar instead)
