Is a 64 bit cpu really worth the l'il bit of extra cash?

Its not even realy a compairison, the athlon will blow the 2.8 out of the water. If you were compairing a p4 3.4 EE and the athlon, there would be competition. Dont forget that you can get an amazing athlon board, for the price of a halfgood intel board too.
yea, those amd boards are pretty cheap... i was looking into getting the ABit KV8-MAX3, but if there's something better i'd appreciate it if you'd fill me in
