Two things:
1) "software" doesn't narrow your request down any more.
2) You'd better not be asking for "warez" links, because, if you are, it's a tanned hide for you... 
I don't think a lot of programs support Mac OS 8.1 anymore, why don't you upgrade to at least Mac OS 9.2.2?

Uh, your best bet is to go on eBay then, since anything really useful for OS 8 will probubly not be freeware/shareware.
appleworks you can buy online. for OS 8, 9 shareware, freeware, etc... and commercial stuff, check out:
