Pe8er
Aha! A więc to tak! Ciekawa rzecz. Osobiście nie używam tego typu rzeczy ale myślę, że znajdzie się tu wielu świrów, którzy będą mieli niesamowitą radochę z odpalania wygaszacza wjechaniem myszką w kąt ekranu Link to comment
silencedge
Very handy! Great when I need to turn on my screensaver and leave my laptop for eons... Thanks! (Y) Link to comment

sketching
I set the app turn on the screensaver after 1 second of mousing over the right-hand side of the screen...nothing happens.Same thing for the other three sides of the screen. The tray icon shows that the app is loaded, but doesn't do anything. mimeryme
There is a gspot already though: http://www.headbands.com/gspot/. Link to comment
GAngel
Thanks guys. @sketching: sorry but in .ini and readme.txt files was litte mistake. There should be: [POSITION] ; 0 - top-right, 1 - bottom-right, 2 - bottom-left, 3 - top-left You must move your mouse to one of this coners not to screen edge. Correct files are on my server now. @Seph: @mimeryme: i didn't know hmmm... but i like this name @Pe7er: no ja też tak myśle Zresztą to jest remake aplikacji, której już nie wolno rozprowadzać bo autor odszedł z tego forum i prosił o to (nazywała się xHotSpot). kerin
this is nice but... is it possible to add it to IEx from SIWU cause i realy love the features of Expose on macosx that allow you to select the focused windows from thumbs, reduce all, start the screen saver and "don't allow screen saver to run!!!" i would like an application that make evrything in only ONE app cause running IEx and Gspot... it's a bit like having a mouse to move the cursor and another to scroll!! Anyway this is a nice APP, i already had suggest this featur to SIWU but the developpement seems to be stoped for the momment, if you want to continue this app maybe can you implement the don't allow screen saver to run on moving the mouse in another hotspot Thank you guy it rox!! Hmmm... I don't think so. It's one big difference between our apps: siwu uses MFC (I think) and I - WINAPI. One of us should rewrite app from scratch and it won't be me , I don't like MFC Link to comment

Only screenserver. 2. MFC: The Microsoft Foundation Class (MFC) Library is a collection of classes (generalized definitions used in object-oriented programming) that can be used in building application programs. The classes in the MFC Library are written in the C++ programming language. The MFC Library saves a programmer time by providing code that has already been written. It also provides an overall framework for developing the application program. There are MFC Library classes for all graphical user interface elements (windows, frames, menus, tool bars, status bars, and so forth), for building interfaces to databases, for handling events such as messages from other applications, for handling keyboard and mouse input, and for creating ActiveX controls. (WIN)API: An application program interface (API - and sometimes spelled application programming interface) is the specific method prescribed by a computer operating system or by an application program by which a programmer writing an application program can make requests of the operating system or another application. An API can be contrasted with a graphical user interface or a command interface (both of which are direct user interfaces) as interfaces to an operating system or a program. Link to comment
kerin
all right thank you for these information!! i hope Siwu or someone else will developp a more complete application about all this stuff cause it's very usefull on a laptop to launch the screensaver and when you're reading, not to allow it to launch (is that english??? ) maybe you could make it, just the function that doesn't allow the screen saver to launch?? :shy: :shy: another question: i got a laptop and i know that what use a lot of resources (on the battery i mean) is the backlight of the screen and in Windows there is an option to shut down the screen after Xminutes of inactivity, is it possible to make a programm that turn off the backlight?? like you made for the screensaver. thank you GAngel you     Link to comment
