Oh, and the memory usage bugs me a little, okay a lot, but it won't keep me from using this. Link to comment

FeAt
Okay. Here it is some news from the new design state of Switcer: Switcher 2 features: - Reduced memory usage I redesigned the memory handling of Switcher and this causes that I'll keep Switcher under the 10MB dream-limit... ...maybe. - Skinable I created skin engine for Switcer to handle PNG images it's skin. So, the background and the "highlighted" item's background is skinable from now. This feature solves your smoothing problem at the corners. - Correct font support Switcher can use TrueType fonts and Type1 fonts from the new release. This means Switcher supports our fonts like LucidaMAC, LucidaMACBold or OBFont. - ICO and PNG support Switcher can able to use .PNG and .ICO images to display your favorite application's image as you customized. Lot of our images are stored only in ICO or only in PNG format. Now Switcher support both of them. - Correct screensize handling This means, if you have a lot of applications are running, more than that are able to visible on the screen in one line, Swither 2 will recalculates the size of the used images. luisalonso
Great work Feat, thx a lot.Oh and what about multiple windows from Ie or Folder. it will display the names of the folder or Ie windows and etc?Congratulations for the great App!LuisAlonso Link to comment
Mad_Mike
Yes, it will display multiple IE/Explorer windows. Also, FeAt is allowing you to use PNGs and ICOs from any folder, so you can just keep your Dock PNGs in the Dock folder and use them from there. (Y) (My program will let you browse for PNG/ICO images so you don't have to type in those long paths.) Another new feature is that you can have it show one iTunes image when you have a "Panther" Switcher theme loaded, and show a different iTunes image when you choose a "Milk" theme. Switcher will be able to fit in very well with any theme you use. FeAt will make everyone very happy! Just wait and see. Link to comment
TwiceBlessed
Trully amazing that you have implemented that many features . Still I would suggest to add some of them left unused before the release date ... if possible of course: 1.) Fixed amount of items shown at the same time (e.g. 4 items) or more optional variant to manually set the quantity of items listed in Switcher. I think it is much better than seeing a lot of tasks floating around. The hidden tasks could be indicated with an arrows at the both sides of switcher and as you progress through your switcher bar you will see all of them eventually. ... 3.) Key combination Alt+Shift+Tab is not implemented though it is available in the original windows switcher. ... 6.) When Alt+Tab is pressed and held on for a certain amount of seconds the program stays on top without holding main button sequence (you can still browse through it by pressing Tab only) and disappear when Alt button is activated again. Eagerly waiting to see you final work, TwiceBlessed Link to comment
FeAt
to TwiceBlessed: OK, your No 3. (Shift+Alt+Tab) will implemented I think that is not question, but I think the No 6. is a little bit ununderstable for the user at the first some usage >.< , because the user con not understand why and when stays Switcher on the screen. No 1. is interesting, I'll thinking about it, but not in this time. :shy: This is a typical feature request and I think it is not part of the main features. ...otherwise I think too, it is an interesting feature and in the future release I'll implementing it.
