Bezelizer

Ok, I had promised to make an app that could do things like play, pause, eject, etc. Sort of busy, forgot to release this app.

Basically, it's 3r-1c without the volume stuff. You feed the program some command line parameters on what bezel you want it to load, bezelizer shows it, and executes whatever program you want. Then bezelizer quits (no more worries about ram consumption ;)). For instance, you could make one that shows the eject arrow and then runs an app that ejects your tray. I included an example and a sketcy readme.

It's simple, basic, (and pointless ;)) but looks cool. You could use it with a hotkey program or something. If you had tried the .005 version, this one is a little quicker showing and doesn't do the startup flicker, hopefully.

Download -- as always, it's buggy, can't guarantee it doesn't blow up your computer, etc. Read the readme first :).

Thanks! :D

agree - it isnt, but that the begining. - give it up for pogz.

One thing - actually MAJOR ONE.

i dragged a shortcut to mobydock, and if f***ed it up big time.

Md simply wouldnt load up afterwards (and i set all goddamn night to figure out the prob) - untill now, i just browsed in here and i realized that was the last thing i threw into the dock *following the instructions).

anyway - i guess its a problem with the links and all - Most likely it was my bad, but i had all pathes correct...

dunno :dunno: :harp:

Pogs, that's a great app!!!

One tiny bug report though... The area turns black for about half a second (less, actually, but it's highly noticable) before the "bezel" is drawn. Your volume bezel didn't have that, guess it was because it was already loaded.

Very good work! (Y)

ok so if i want it to play for wmp my config file should be like :

[Launch]

File="C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe"

Arguments=/play

right?

but it tells me "no command line parameters detected"

do i have to put bezelizer in the wmp directory?? or can it be anywhere?

n if wmp isnt started, will this launch up wmp n play ??

sorry but the readme text is very confusing :blink:
