I haven't been paying attention here in a while, and I just read through this entire thread. The new skin looks great! I'll be upgrading my forum to 3.1.x in the next week or two, and when I do I'll also install this beta skin. Look forward to trying it out on the iPhone and iPad. :)

I can't fix the calendar being cut off, you'll just have to rotate the iphone to see more tabs.

As for polls, I'm not sure why you're not getting the new versions. Can try reimporting and not check upgrade skin.

The avatar one, how do you have your avatar setup on your site? Facebook? Twitter? Gallery avatar? Uploaded? Linked?

Sounds good, thanks.

I started over from scratch and the poll skin seems to be working now. But, the image in the screenshot I had for the

tag is still missing - it should have an arrow something like it does on the default IPB skin.

The avatar is an uploaded avatar, it works on the desktop version of our skin.

Update: Tim I noticed my avatar shows up when I reply to a post, but the place I am seeing it missing is when I click my member name to view my profile if this helps.

Va Beach,

what a joke of a hurricane it was too. We barely got any rain after all that :P

I'll keep you guys updated this weekend with the skin. Should be final soon.

Glad the hurricane missed you. I've gone through a few myself back when I lived on the east coast.

Look forward to seeing an update. I just installed the Mobile 2 Beta on my test 3.1.2 board, as I will be updating my live forum in a few days. I like what I've seen so far, it's coming along great! Much more comprehensive than the built-in Invision mobile skin.

Fixed

- Report Center Skinned

- Moderation Tools Skinned

- Misc tiny fixes/optimizations

- Blackberry, webOS gradients added (lack of css gradient support)

You SHOULD reimport in the images, there is a new folder of about 10 gradients added.

This is the last beta. Next version will include a few fixes / css optimizations for easy color changing.

After that, I'll start re-adding support for addon's such as blogs, subscriptions, and shoutbox.

Great, glad to see a new version! I just have a few days left before I upgrade my live forum to 3.1.2. I'll install this today and check it out on my iPhone and iPad. Looking forward to Blogs and Subscriptions support as well.

Thanks!

Tim,

It seems that around Beta 3 I had the option to move topics, split topics, delete topics etc. but for some reason in the last two releases this seems to be no longer working. Am I imagining that this was there or is it really suppose to be there and it is no longer working for some reason?

I remember seeing towards the bottom of the topic around the "Watch topic" section. I am in the Administrator group so I would imagine if this is suppose to be there that I should be seeing it? Or are this mod tools somewhere else and I just thought they were there?

Update: Tim I think I found it, those moderation tools are set to be hidden in the ipb_styles.css, is there a reason for this?

Here are the two CSS entries for that section:

body #topic_mod {
display: none;
}

body #topic_mod,
.ipbmenu_content li.porthide {
display: block;
}

I have commented out the display:none in the first entry, should this be okay or did you hide it intentionally?

body #topic_mod {
/*display: none;*/
}

You could do that, or just tilt the phone on its side to see all the mod tools :P

Really I didn't know it was that simple, I thought they should be visible either way I hold the phone, no? This explains why I saw them once before and didn't realize where they went.

It is not obvious, I wouldn't have thought to rotate my phone either. It would be nice if they were visible in portrait mode as well.

The real reason they're hidden in portrait, is cause I wasn't a fan of seeing them when I used the theme myself. Since I do alot of browsing holding the phone that way. But with that css tweak Kevin posted about, anyone can have it show. :)

Thanks, I'll try that.

I did install the latest skin (Beta 5 I think) and it's really coming along nicely. Look forward to having the Blog skinned, as that's heavily used on my forum. And I can give you access to my development 3.1.2 forum, which contains 386 blogs, 6,212 entries and 12,773 comments, if that would help with development and/or testing. :)
