Hey there ppl!

Got a question...

On last version (5.4) I was able to see .rmvb videos thumbnails on stacks, but now in 5.6 I also can, but not all of them, just a few, .avi are ok, but like in the screenshot, the first one it´s an .rmvb, the the other bunch with the question mark are .rmvb, an the other few with thumbnail are .avi, and the winamp file there it´s an mpg and i was also able to see it, so what´s the prob? why I can´t see all the .rmvb thumbnail, I already added the extension on the files tab and re-installed the codecs.

Thanks in advance!

Might you give the filenames of the rmvbs that work, and don't? Any differences will help nail this bug, which I think this is ;)

First of all thanks for answer so fast, well there´s a lot, but as you can see on the thumbnail, the first one that´s 12 monkeys it´s an .rmvb, aaaaall the other ones with question mark are .rmvb also, and those few with thumbnail are .avis, now since I wrote on the other post, I ran the past version of XWD to see if it was the current version, and surprise! they´re gone too!

What´s wrong!?

Hope it´s clear what im writing...

Mmm... I'll have to let Bobah answer this one. For now, try renaming one of your not-working files to the same as a working file, and see if it works. Also try the other way around, and post back :D

Then, it seems that something at your PC has changed since the last time it worked - with the previous version of XWD.

As bobah told you before, as far as XWD is concerned, if you have the right codecs in place, and have set .rmvb extension at the right place - at video - as you're telling you have, everything should work; check what you've been doing lately... ;)

Yep, that´s why im asking, cause that time I asked BOBAH I installed those codecs and then it worked, so with this version I installed XWD, then I re-did the stack with the rmvb files, i checked them, and they where like when I asked BOBAH in first time, so, I re installed the codecs and they still the same, I´ll try with some other codecs, think it will work?

I really don't know what is wrong with mine, I don't have any labels and they are turned on, and I don't have any magnification. I also can't drag item, I can only drag them off of the dock.

I am on Vista 32-bit....I have re-installed many times to different folders and all kinds of stuff, any suggestions?

@SaRRaZin: but after showing this message the dock runs normally? I'm asking because I get this error message every time I do a clean install, only the first time I run XWD after that kind of installation, but then the dock shows up and everything runs fine afterwards...
