KAWSquared 0
As some of you may know, RCT2 was distributed in cereal boxes a while back. I got the disc and installed it.It worked before. This morning, after quite a while, I decided I want to play again. So I pop in the disc, and I click "Go" when the window pops up. I get an error saying "There was an error launching the game."I said **** it, so I decided to uninstall. I do the usual via add/remove programs, and the uninstaller finishes successfully and says complete. However, it doesn't disappear from the add/remove programs list, and didn't delete the directory I installed it on. Which means it didn't actually uninstall it. I tried it multiple times, rebooting and what not, and no luck. I tried installing this patch, no luck. I don't know what to do now. Anyone have any solutions? Link to post
System Folder 0
Have you tried deleting the directory where you installed RCT? Try deleting it. If that doesn't work, try booting into safe mode. Hope that helps. Link to post
KAWSquared 0
I don't think that's the issue. I think the uninstaller just doesn't do anything. Link to post
mvosx1094 0
Try RevoUninstaller (search in PCWorld.com) gt thr portable version. It's a HIGHLY recommended uninstaller that can make a restorepoint before Uninstall and delete registry keys of the app and left over files and your HardDrive Link to post

iTails 0
This is an issue with all Windows PC's. Because its an Older game, I guess its used to older file settings. I notice with a lot of games that I install (such as Battlefield 1942, Vietnam) the file folder stay there, they don't actually go anywhere. Link to post
