matonga
I think it would help if you can take a macro photo of some part where the backlight doesn't work. With the most resolution you can get from your camera. @KAWSquared: He didn't spill Redbull all over his keyboard, just the parts where the backlight doesn't work. Link to comment
iGo
Perhaps you forgot you spilled Redbull all over your keyboard. .Right!! He already mentioned that, But he's asking how can he fix it and your post helps exactly, how? Yusuf, I suggest you take it to the nearest apple store or any place in your are who handle apple repairs. Since it was your fault of spilling liquid on the keys, I don't see you getting any free fixes... you'll have to pay for whatever you have done... Link to comment
painkilleryusuf
how much will this cost me? @matonga: i will take some macro pix tom. But wat exactly do you want to see? Link to comment
matonga
@painkilleryusuf:I'm not sure. Maybe the leds are burned out. Maybe they are covered with dirt, which managed to stick to the leds because of rests of the drink. Also I would be sending the photos to a friend of mine who repaired my father's CD Diskman (it had a similar problem... though water instead of spilled drink... BTW the diskman said "water resistant"... lie). Link to comment

Telling to go do something he probably thought up himself? Consider criticizing yourself before you dare to criticize me. And there would be no solution except for having Apple fix it for you. Better iGo? I think so. Link to comment

Ertai88
Thats why Lenovo includes draining holes on their keyboards. Not sure if a draining hole would have saved you though. xDAnyways, have a look at this thread. You've probably seen it if you did some Googling, but they seem to be giving more help than you're getting here right now, and also looks like there's some replacement info.http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=535788HTH Link to comment
painkilleryusuf
Alright guys, that was a great help. As much of a kinda-geeky i am, i love my MBP so much so i cant open it. I will give it to a apple-authorized center here. A really close friend works there ( i got to know yesterday) and he told me he will only chrge me for the top case and no service charge. But thanks again.//editMacro shot here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ymaimoon/3270892057/Looks like we're done here (including the handbag slapping), locked.
