I have a problem when i try to shutdown de computer

evreything works fine but when i try to shutdown my pc all the programs running at that moment (or process) start to have problem and i have to end now every program of my computer...

please help me to fix it!

Prob a good idea to shut down running apps before shutting down computer... just a thought.

I tried to shut down my PC with an unsaved word doc open yesterday.

Instead of what it normally does, IE, not shut down until you give it confirmation of whether to save or not, I got a dimmed out screen alerting me I had unsaved docs, and what I could do from here.

That's why Vista is awesome, little touches like that. I've been using Vista for about a year, and this is the first time it's happened. Awesome.
