I don't want to be a nuisance, but it would make a great X-Mas gift for the Y'z Dock community.. THX and a Happy New Year! Link to comment
chrisdfh
I use stacks docklet without a dock, i use it inside windows as a controller for the QuickLaunch bar.I tried the new version ( i think i use version 1.0.0 ) and as i replaced the dll file, with this new version the fan and/or grids when open they close right back. Am i doing something wrong?i already had it working with previous version, so i re-replaced the old dll and it worked again.Do you know what happens?thanks Link to comment
MrFink
hey, registered here to post this and first off would like to say that this applet is awesome, however I've run into a rather annoying bug that I'm sure has been posted and re-posted in this epic threadnaught but after an hour of searching I can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for.I'm using the standalonestack version, and it all works fine except once the applet window closes I get a windows error message saying "Show Mac OS Leopard Stacks in your desptop with a simle shortcut - use the StackDocklet from Matonga has stopped working".Please help me! ver1t4s
I fixed my problem, just in case this happens to anybody else, just extract the folder to your desktop and then drag it into place. Link to comment
Mobyhunr
I'm having problems with the Icons disappearing from Objectdock when I reboot. They work but are not there. The the main Icons that are assigned as stackerdocklets. I would try restarting Objectdock If I knew how. Maybe someone can help, I was so close. Vista OS, latest release of stackerdocklets, free Objectdock. ThanksAlso, having advanced options for magnifiying docks wood be cool like glow, even if it disappears to load. Link to comment

Xonotron
THANKS for this great piece of software! There's a bug bugging me using StackDocklet with RocketDock however: 1. start RocketDock 2. plug in second monitor and set it to primary monitor (RocketDock is set to appear on primiary monitor) ->RocketDock appears an the freshly plugged in monitor 3. click a StackDocklet icon -> nothing happens 4. restart RocketDock -> everything is fine again The same applies in the opposite direction (unplugging the monitor). Since I frequently plug/unplug my secondary screen (big 26" LCD, the other one is my notebook 's screen) this bothers me every time. I'm running my notebook VistaSP1, RocketDock v1.3.5 and StackDocklet 1.0.0.359 Greetings Xonotron Link to comment

hollandais
Hi,I'm new on this forum, and very interesting in the StackDocklet.I'm using OD plus 1.90 build 535u. on Win XP SP3.I've downloaded the stackdocklet and put it in my OD folder.2 times OD goes down (Why?), but now it works.I saw all the before posted messages but I didn't found what I need.Grid mode and automatic mode works, but fan displays automatic mode.I've tried to use %d more... in global settings, without Open folder text, but it wouldn't work. This is the docklet where I was looking for. I'll use it instead of the Flyout of OD.One more question: Is it possible to open the docklet with a mouse over instead of a clic? Thanks for your reply, and sorry for my English,[[ UPDATE: ]]Hi,This morning ObjectDock wouldn't start.I've removed Stackdocklet and it works again.I tried it 3 times, same result. Is there something to do?I'm using Stackdocklet.dll 1.0.0.359.Thanks, Link to comment

I'm running my notebook VistaSP1, RocketDock v1.3.5 and StackDocklet 1.0.0.359 Greetings Xonotron This same issue occurs when I remote desktop to my PC. I run Vista, and I have a quad monitor setup. When I remote desktop, the Stacks docklets no longer work. When I come back to my desktop, they continue to not work, forcing me to close RocketDock and re-open it. My coworker also noticed this behavior, and he's running 3 monitors. I assume the same is true for dual monitors as well. Note that I have RocketDock running in my primary monitor, so it's not just that the stacks docklet is opening in another monitor. I'm not aware of any kind of fix for this issue, but I'd be greatly interested in one. Link to comment

RocknGothAlien
@MatongaCould you add a "doubleclick" barrier for the stacks activating/deactivating, like real Stacks?Because your Stacks are a little buggy, when i make a tripple click on a stack. Link to comment

ToMoFFeL
Thank you for this docklet! awesome work! Works for me in Vista x64 german with ObjectDock+ 1.90 build 535u Link to comment
chatpristi
@shlvment : This is probably because there is a problem with your file associations for .reg files. Try this :Right click on Matonga's file and select "open with", then "choose program"scroll down the list and see if you find "regedit", if so, then select it (and you can check the "always use that program to open that file type" box at the bottomif regedit isn't there, clisk on the "browse " button and find it in "c:windows"That should work now, double clicking on the .reg file should now call regedit to write the file's information in the registry. (it should display a confirmation window to make sure you really want to write data to the registry, click "yes" and that's it !) Link to comment
matonga
@shlvment: You can also just run regedit.exe and then choose File / Import and select the .reg file (you'll have to extract the .reg file somewhere first, for example into My Documents). But I encourage you to follow chatpristi's recommendation, so you won't have problems when double-clicking reg files in the future . Link to comment
