New Gateway to Compete with new iMac

Recommended Posts

its good. the world needs more of this.

I find it hard to accept that the iMac has so little competition... or people trying to compete with an all in one design.

What about the Sony Vaio? There are three models which copy this model, "all-in-one", including the LS36N which, at $1500, has 320GB HDD, 2 GB RAM, and a dual-core 7200 @2000 MHz running Vista Business and an optional 8800 GtX by NVIDIA

Yeh right.... cm'on man. 8800 GTX has hard time fitting in most of the mid-tower cabinets, how the hell it's going fit in a All-In-One design pcs like the model you've mentioned??

I went through sony and other etailers sites (check this link on sony's site for the same model) and nowhere I could find optional graphic chip for that model. at least do some homework before posting wrong information.

Meh, gateway have been doing this for god-only-knows how long. I guess it's kinda good that there is a competitor, and something similar but designed for Windows...

I guess it's just something gatewyay will always do. Shame they can't come up with thier own designs. All of thier all in ones have been heavily based on apple's computers.

yeah i agree.

While I think more computer companies should be trying all-in-one designs, its a shame that they so heavily base thier designs on apple.

I think other companies can innovate even better than apple if they tried.

Okay...

I wanna add something. It is great for companies to try to get up to speed with Apple. However, then these computer companys will start making everything Apple does; yes, that means an OS and something like an iPod. Therfore, the company will fail.
