Sci-Fi 0
[newsimg]http://www.aqua-soft.org/images/as_logo_128.png[/newsimg] Apparently apple takes the time to remove functional code like allowing you to input calendar events but doesn't bother to change the "iPhone is disabled" text shown when you lock your iPod and fail to type in the right password. Unbeliever 0
News should at least appear impartial and objective but what you posted makes you sound like you hold a grudge against Apple... I suggest you edit it a bit Link to post
Sci-Fi 0
Oh.. sorry about that I am still a new Newsposter. I actually got it from Digg.com Highest dugged and thought it's something we can discuss about. I think you should delete this thread Link to post

KAWSquared 0
very disappointed... @phantom lord, you might get banned for all those sig bars :slant: Link to post
metroid87706 0
Wow, that makes two strikes. Three strikes and yourrrrr out, Apple! lol. I had to say that. Thats really weird. I think Apple has some updating to do. :-D Link to post
metallicamaster3 0
Possibly some updates. I'm surprised they started with the iPhone's OS rather than starting from scratch, although I can't blame em.@BapeStar; why would I get banned? A mod hasn't told me nor warned me. Link to post
Levi- The perfectionist 0
expect an apple update within days to hide this embarassment lol Link to post
iGo 0
This is what happens when you try to rush thing to market, QC department is get vacation and products get shabby treatment.Apple of late has been doing quite some things not expected from them, some good some bad. Link to post
Soniku 0
that's one heck of a screw up..lmao Link to post
sean.fletcher 0
Possibly some updates. I'm surprised they started with the iPhone's OS rather than starting from scratch, although I can't blame em.Why should they be expected to make a different "mobile" OS? Link to post
virstulte 0
to be quite honest, why does it matter anyway? I mean, if it's unstable, that's one thing. To be honest, I wouldn't mind having an iPhone without the phone. Link to post
metroid87706 0
Hahahaha, I went to the Apple Store today, added a password, and typed it in wrong many times, so it said that, and I made all the people who work there amazed! I played it as if I was dumb and Had no idea. I said "Ugh, i dont think this is an iPhone.... ugh.... I think they are rippin us off".... lol Link to post
Jake Moore 0
People are complaining about the 8GB Flash Drive in the iPhone, right? Is it not possible to get a hold of the Flash Drive in the iTouch, put it in the iPhone, and then restore the iPhone with iTunes? Link to post
metallicamaster3 0
Possibly, considering its all about firmware which determinds if its a Touch or a iPhone. Link to post
iGo 0
LOL.... not at all. iPod Touch won't have GSM radio or EDGE radio to use, like in iPhone.. neither it has microphone input or phone related hardware. It's much more than firmware. All the traces of iPhone appearing in iPod Touch is part of Software being used. It's more like finished and prepared in hurry for iPod and QC team missed few strings. Link to post
Jake Moore 0
yea, I definitely have to agree with iGo on the firmware thing, but where do you stand on my question about swapping flash drives iGo? Link to post
Guest Yami Bakura
Apple of late has been doing quite some things not expected from them, some good some bad.Probably because of the iPhone development. Apple is focusing too much on the iPhone. Link to post
iGo 0
but where do you stand on my question about swapping flash drives iGo?Oh dear... Sorry I missed the point there buddy. I thought you were talking about turning your iPod Touch into iPhone, my bad. I guess you can bump iPhone's capacity using Flash Drive. But given iPhone's complex assembly, it's really a delicate job to do. I believe though pretty soon we should see aftermarket modification offered by people who were doing battery and hdd upgrades for previous iPods. Link to post
Jake Moore 0
I did iPod upgrades/repair quite often on the previous models of the ipod, of course, those Drives weren't soldered onto the mainboard like the iPhone. Link to post
