JordanII
I am looking for an ObjectBar Leopard theme. Is it possible for me to make OB transparent? Where can I find a theme or could someone please make one? Thanks! Just make sure it has transparency.~Jordan Link to comment
aximgeinus
Try Hawkeye ShellInit: http://www.hawkeyetech.com/products/freeware.htm. It can do a whole bunch of things, and it should work on ObjectBar. It's based on scripts. Post back here if you have any trouble figuring it out. Link to comment

grim53
hey guys, i just checked about this, and it dosn't seem possible to make a transparent bg, but with the buttons and font be normal. ob skins with bmps, it would need to use pngs to do what apple did. some one could make a window blinds theme though, like all the vista skins. Raats
Grim53 -- If you think laterally you can overcome the issue of the transparency. Personally I hate the new Leopard desktop, but I made one just as a quick experiment. If you use the Leopard grass background, you can make the tigerbar for OB (using photoshop) look transparent, but essentially you are using a normal image file. This gives the ILLUSION of the transparency. The downside is that you would need to create a different bar each time to wanted to change the background, but the illustion is complete. Here is a link to a screencap of my desktop using the Leopard OB I made, the Leopard background and the excellent Leopard WB theme by Blitzr. The RK Launcher dock is also one I made - it does NOT reflect the icons.http://www.markraats.com/leopard_desk.htmI normally use a different theme so this is not a complete transformation, but I thought it might be a useful pointer for those wanting to do a Leopard theme Link to comment
tigbus
Hey, Raats. That looks great. Good work. Which FINDER app are you using? Link to comment
Raats
Hey, Raats. That looks great. Good work. Which FINDER app are you using?Cheers Mate! The finder app is FindeXer, but carefully modified to open each time with apple thumbnails - as shown. It looks more authentic with the usual brushed WB theme I normally use.The appleTV icon on the dock, opens the cloned AppleTV app I developed a good while ago:http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/showthread.php?t=41409 Link to comment

minoba82
What version of ObjectBar do you all have? I have version 1.65 and I have an option to make my bar transparent. Just right-click your bar and go to properties. Then click on the very first bar on the list on the left. On the right side you should see five tabs. Click on the 'Advanced' tab and you should see the transparency section. I've attached a screenshot. Link to comment
Ali C.
I saw that myself. It didn't work on mine though, it only made the menus semi transparent, which was the exact opposite of what I wanted (the bar semi and the menus normal). But I see the words "skin set" and it makes me wonder if I can reset this setting, which I bet is something script based.Free cookie to whoever spots the pun. tonym130
Great bar Kevin!!, currently using it. Do you think you could make some other bars with the other leopard wallpapers? Link to comment
soccerpro100cn
well i don't think kevin would actually take his time just to make bars for others when it is kind of easy. if you use his instructions that he gives you, you can make them on your own. there are some free apps out there that are similar to photoshop that are free and will do the same things with the same or even better quality. i can upload a bar for you if you want... its the leopard grass one.
