proenca 0
http://chsalmon.club.fr/index.php?en/Yod-m-3d-aboutits a 3d cube virtual desktop for vista Link to post
alpha2zulu 0
thank you very much for the link! looks great. The other program on the site, Visual Tooltip. is also a neat program, and it limits windows for your dock. Link to post
Sranshaft 0
That's pretty damn cool. Shame it's not as smooth (on XP with a Radeon 9550) as Compiz/Beryl is on linux. Slows to a crawl when first "cubed" but then it's pretty fast until I "cube" it again. Would be great to see this developed further, maybe with live windows. Nice find proenca. Thanks for that. alpha2zulu 0
It's pretty smooth for me, and I'm using a mobile Radeon. Maybe you've got what I like to call your "graphics expectations" too high. (talking bout your card settings, not crapping on your hardware lol) Link to post
Hoffnungstod 0
yes thank you! but it does kinda lag. i wish microsoft would jst put something like this already in windows. i need it to run smoother. Link to post
proenca 0
try this Hoffnungstodhttp://download.microsoft.com/download/whi...wertoySetup.exejust right click and put wxpsp2 compat mode Link to post
spyro94 0
So downloading the microsoft thing and the virtual desktop thing while give me a fast-working 3D-cube window switching effect? Link to post
Sranshaft 0
Microsoft's Virtual Desktop won't give you the 3d switch effect. It's a barebones virtual desktop and doesn't offer many of the enhancement others such as VirtuaWin or Dexpot do. Link to post
spyro94 0
That program doesn't work on Vista... It says that it can't be installed Link to post
hallf 0
Did you read the part about "just right click and put wxpsp2 compat mode"? Link to post
spyro94 0
Woops I though that was referring to settings within the program Edit: I still can't install it, when i right click it doesn't have any options I can change to work.. Link to post
