a virtual desktop program for vista?

The other program on the site, Visual Tooltip. is also a neat program, and it limits windows for your dock.

That's pretty damn cool. Shame it's not as smooth (on XP with a Radeon 9550) as Compiz/Beryl is on linux. Slows to a crawl when first "cubed" but then it's pretty fast until I "cube" it again. Would be great to see this developed further, maybe with live windows.

It's pretty smooth for me, and I'm using a mobile Radeon. Maybe you've got what I like to call your "graphics expectations" too high. (talking bout your card settings, not crapping on your hardware lol)

Microsoft's Virtual Desktop won't give you the 3d switch effect. It's a barebones virtual desktop and doesn't offer many of the enhancement others such as VirtuaWin or Dexpot do.
