warius 0
First install the UxTheme patcher which enables you to use Visual Styles in XPVista themes you can find a whole bunch of at DeviantArt here or hereJust unzip the ones you download and doubleclick the .msstyle files Link to post
Island Dog 0
The advantage of using Windowblinds is you will get to use per-pixel skins which will give you the semi-transparency as seen in Vista, and you don't have to "patch" your system files. Link to post
davidsword 0
Yeah, I was an idiot, not knowing anything about skins and themes. And downloaded some themes and ran a patch, and i realy wish i didn't, when i [rightclick.Taskbar]>Poperties it shows the skin i downloaded (ugly black Vista wanna be one) aposed to the standerd blue luna windows.Anyone know how to restore patched 'explore.exe' and 'dllcache' files? xfactor8 0
U don't need to to restore, just change back to Luna and it should fix itself...unless you downloaded the Transformation Pack, in which case you need to uninstall Link to post
davidsword 0
It was a patched that altered the explore.exe fill in [C:/>Windows] I just fixed it, the patch i used came with an un-patched explore.exe file (that i didnt see before) and It cleared everything up, Link to post
Bebi_Bulma 0
Windowblinds Basics - that'll get you started with Windowblinds. There's a ton of Vista blinds out there, just find a few you like and try them out. Might want to check this out too: What's the advantage of buying Windowblinds? Link to post
