Designing websites in Photoshop

Hello, I am thinking of trying web designing. Well I am wondering if it's possible to create the design on photoshop, just the design. I have no clue of coding so yeah that part is kind of screwed. But yes, do you know if they create designs on photoshop than code it?

Yes. You can create the design in Photoshop, slice it, and then code it.

what you mean by "slice" ?

You can create a "template" in photoshop. then you can switch to Image ready using the "Jump to image ready" button in the toolbar.

In Imagre Ready you can make image maps and "slices" with a cutter tool to devide your design into different parts (e.g. navigation, main content, bottom..) - be sure to designate the slices and the image maps properly to get a nice and clean html code afterwards ...
