pNoyr3D 0
Hello I am new to making wallpapers and as most of you probably know I created the ORBIT WALLPAPER PACK anyways, I was wondering. What is the best extension to save wallpapers as? .jpg, .png, .bmp, etc! Thanks. Link to post
disjunto 0
jpg and png are the best options Link to post
Zaft 0
Highest quality jpeg would probably be the best.PNG retains more information but filesizes are bigger by comparison. Link to post

liquidplasmaflow 0
I personally like PNG because it's essentially lossless Link to post
pNoyr3D 0
Yeah i'm currently saving them as .PNG, like my ORBIT WALLPAPER PACK, that's in .PNG. For some reason though when I save it in .PNG and I use it as my wallpaper the wallpaper keeps dissapearing in the background.. Maybe it's my problem but yeah I might keep using .PNG. Link to post
piniata 0
Haha advertise that pack. Link to post
Desides 0
I personally like PNG because it's essentially lossless Problem with PNG is that if a wallpaper has transparency and is saved as a PNG, it won't show up properly on a Windows desktop... which is where JPG comes in. Link to post
liquidplasmaflow 0
That's why you don't have wallpapers with transparency Link to post
