Starting ByteController with iTunes automatically

Recommended Posts

I really like ByteController for iTunes because its free and very minimalistic. Except I can't get it to start with iTunes automatically. I have to manually start bytecontroller each time I start iTunes. I have the option "run only when itunes is running" checked but it doesn't open when iTunes is open. Is this normal?

Thanks.

you can write an applescript to start iTunes and ByteController together and one more to close both ))

Or you can start ByteController as login item and check "Show only when iTunes is open" checkbox...

There is no other way )

Oh! you can write your own app with similar function but... IMO BC is good )

@biiscit

Press-and-hold mouse button on play image in ByteController. In 3-5sec menu will popup. Then go to preferences and check a General tab ) There are only 2 checkboxes and i think you need both to check =)

good luck

edit:

BTW sometime we close app ;) Especially those big one like Pages or Acrobat or Photoshop... You know..
