Carlospr 0
For now beta 12 is the ultimate WCC version. The aim is to test the new text engine that'll render png files as its font. To test this new beta 12 you need to follow 3 steps: 1- install beta 10 (just if you don't have installed WCC before due system files). You can get it here: http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/Winam...se/1109367710/1 2- install one of the new fonts set (you have to create a "Fonts" folder then a subfolder for each font set, like the "Skins" folder): Default font: http://www.closetosoftware.com/temp/Default.zip Morpheus font: http://www.closetosoftware.com/temp/Morpheus.zip 3- Now you can test the last beta 12 build (*): http://www.closetosoftware.com/temp/wcc12b142.zip (*) don't forget to copy "icon.ico" into "...SkinsCase" folder. Note: an installer will be made as soon as the font engine is ready. Screenshots: (New Search "Prompt") Have fun! Link to post

Zaft 0
I finally tried out this new build of Winamp cd cover and i think it is amazing ! Good job on the font , i like the time function as well displayed in the title! A small thing: when I choose the progress bar it appears in the top left hand corner of my desktop screen. Tried changing the options but it still gets stuck up there. But I like the Time thing, that is great so I don't use the progress bar now PS. Can the Show Time thing be an option for the other lines please PPS. Can the text be wrapped for long titles (I used to have mine x2 size of case maximum) Thanks! Link to post
Carlospr 0
Zaft,1) Progress bar: Go to "Skin Manager>Size and position>Progress bar" and:1.1. Uncheck "Show progress bar" to hide it1.2. Select "Bottom Notifier" in "Position" and set "0" (number zero, without quotes) to "Pad left (pixels)". It should fix the progress bar.2) Time: maybe later since it's not that simple3) Text wrap: later you will be able to set the maximum number of letters to be displayed; if the text is bigger than it will be cut (e.g. "bla bla bla...") ichik 0
Okay. I re-installed entire Windows, Winamp, using new hardware now. I'm now started to receive that damn '55 error' on loading new cover. What is worse I'm still getting error while searching and applying new cover. Link to post
Zaft 0
I don't think I explained the problem clearly so I have a screenshot. I think i have set the options correctly. (ps i also did i reinstall of beta 10 and applied beta 12) Thanks ! PS the progress bar works if set to Below Notifier, but it doesnt work at all if set to Top Link to post
ichik 0
Well then, I removed problem with displaying new cover just by removing tick at "cover as icon", but I still get error after applying newly searched cover. Any ideas? Link to post
Carlospr 0
ichik,You must be kidding! So Winamp starts to play a new song, WCC starts to load the song's cover and you get the error here?Try to install the required VB6 runtime. I think I'm still using "vbrun60sp3.exe".Microsoft Download link:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...B4-7C039D9BF629In addition:- Disable your antivirus and test it- Try to close any unecessary process (Ctrl+Alt+Del)- Do you have any other Winamp plugin that could be using your cover files as well?Anyway, I'll keep checking the code...I don't think I explained the problem clearly so I have a screenshot.I think i have set the options correctly.(ps i also did i reinstall of beta 10 and applied beta 12)Thanks !PS the progress bar works if set to Below Notifier, but it doesnt work at all if set to TopI'll review the progress position procedure...Well then, I removed problem with displaying new cover just by removing tick at "cover as icon", but I still get error after applying newly searched cover. Any ideas?Hum!In these two procedures (show cover as system tray icon and apply a new cover) there is one thing in common: WCC overwrites an existing file if any.For some reason the system or some program is holding the file and when WCC tries to do its job the file is already in use.Try this ultimate build. For this two procedures WCC kills the files instead let the Windows API itself do that: http://www.closetosoftware.com/temp/wcc12b73.zip Link to post
Zaft 0
This is a bit random but I have modded the CD Case with a more transparent shine as i found the default to be too 'white'. It is here if anyone wants it, just put in to Skins/Case folder and replace the old one. PS How did you make your fonts and is there any sizes or things to know before creating a new Font set. I would like to attempt to make a set for anyone to use, thanks! Link to post
Carlospr 0
Zaft,Thanks for the case. I'll try it!Regarding the font: I've used PhotoShop to do them. The fonts are really simple. Just a 40x40 (pixels) image with transparent background. See the WCC "...FontsDefault" for a sample. If you want you can download my project (13KB): http://www.closetosoftware.com/temp/wccfont.zip Link to post
