How to turn off bootskin in flyakite to run chkdsk

Recommended Posts

I am having disk error problems and need to run chkdsk on my c drive

I need to turn off the Flyakite boot up skin so I can see what's happening

How can I do this?

Right click in my computer, click properties. Tab Advanced, click settings under startup and recovery now click edit. You'll have a line like:

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect /noguiboot /bootlogo

remove /noguiboot and /bootlogo, save and reboot.
