Mac OS X Tiger

I'm never good at writing the first sentence of a release so bare with me. This theme was created to match the new
made by
,
Mac OS X 10.4
codenamed
Tiger.
My
X Panther theme came out in 2004. I as the monthes passed I wasn't pleased with the end result of the theme, I wasn't happy with it, even though the majority of people I spoke with loved it. Having said that, I had decided to create a new version of the theme from scratch. I rebuilt it all from ground up and I think it is a very large improvement over
Panther. I've also included a few additional schemes to add more to the Mac experience, it features the classic Aqua and Graphite scheme, the newly introduced Platinum scheme which is found in the System Preferences and Mail programs in
X 10.4. In addition to those two, I couldn't leave out the beloved Brushed. There is over 20 substyles and those included two versions of the start menu's, one being the standard start menu, and the other being my own compact
menu (AM). The
menu is a simple stripped down start menu that is made to look like the
menu in
. There are also left and right handed titlebar buttons for those that want their
to look like a Mac, but at the same time keep their right handed Windows buttons. Now, as I made you all read through that, here is what you have been waiting for.

damn, i was hoping for an msstyle :(

Sorry chum, but you can't make it look as sweet as it does with a msstyle. If someone wanted to port it, go for it. I would have suggested KoL as he has ported some of my work in the past and it has been quite nice, but he already has his own Tiger theme. He can still do it if he wants to. I just want to make sure it's up to par before it's released.

excellent work none-the-less :)

i`m trying to hunt down my newsposters for a proper review of the theme (since i don`t use WB and can`t do it) ;)

Well I msut start out by saying this is truly astouding work, I absolutely love it.

However, I'm afraid I have found a few major bugs :(

The main problem is with Photoshop CS:

Also I'm having trouble with Tabs, although I'm not sure if it's a problem with the skin or with a setting somewhere:

And finally: I was wondering if it would be possible to add the spotlight icon to the right, kinda like Kol's Tiger WB did?

Heh, don't let your GF get mad at you because of me or AndreasV, go see her, the theme and AveDesk 1.2 will be waiting for you when you get back.

As for those bugs, the first 3 cannot be fixed, thats Windows and Photoshop's lovely designing wonders. The last one can be fixed, you need to delete the copy of Lucida Grande you have installed and then install the one included with my theme (in the theme dir) It should also auto install it when you run the theme, but it won't replace if you have something already installed with the same name. The font Flyakite used in his pack is different then mine, and thus it creates that large space in the tabs.

Great theme! The only problem (I am having) is that the font is too small for my (CRT monitor and is straining) my eyes. Maybe, one day, BZeitler would release a mod with a larger font size.

Yeah, I know. That's how things are for me in all WB themes pretty much because I'm running 1920x1200 on my laptop. I just use User Overrides and make the font size 10-30% bigger (depending on the theme) and just deal with the occasional weirdness it does to Windows.
