This is more of a feature request, then a bug, but in the "real" finder, when you choose a color label, it sticks with that folder/file no matter what view you have. So if I choose a label, and then switch to column view, it will still be there, highlighting the entire folder/file. Just thought I'd add that.

Overall, I like this release, though I think it has a few bugs, most of which have been addressed already. Thanks for the release

I have encountered a major bug. I was scrolling thought the shortcut pane and nexplorer simply dissapeared. Vanished into thin air. It still shows up in the taskbar but it is simply gone from my screen! I have not restarted my computer yet, but right now when I click on nexplorer the title bar appears for like 1/20th of a second and then it is gone forever. I will see if I can do a restart to get it back and then duplicate the problem. Very Strange.

You did a real professional job here.This app is perfect for us (PC USERS) who wants a mac system.

I was away for some months...and booomm...I visited the aqua-soft .org and didnt resist...made the os change all over again.But now,amlmost an yer later..

we can fnd apps like that. Its great.Keep up the great work.The best app mac alike

Now...I ll use it instead Explore.exe.

It's just that mouse does strange things and the coordinate will be like -32756 for both x and y. You don't have to restart your computer. Just edit nexplorer.ini and change x,y values there.

I will add a code to keep the mouse from doing that.

OKay, I backed up my nexplorer.ini and replaced it with a clean one and the app restarts fine. It must be cometing in the ini. I am going to compare the two to find out what is wrong. I bet it is a shortcut or something that I added. I will see.

I had just found that in the ini as well... it fixes it.

Switching button positions like that is not the scenario I have considered .

Right now it is normal that it behaved like the screenshot.

I will make the skinning engine more adaptable.

this happened to me when I was scrolling through my Program Files, but when I clicked and dragged the scroll bar. I'll replace the .ini file and see, but this definitely seems like a bug to me too!

It was there in the test version but I removed it due to browsing speed problem.

I don`t know if it is due the skin, or if it is not implemented in the sking engine....

Even the real finder doesn't do that. Look at screenshots at therealduckie.net.

It may look simple when you think of a feature at user's standpoint but sometimes it takes programmers several hours of coding. --Sigh--

read the threads.. you just have to drop a png or ico onto the shortcut and it will use that icon.

I don't know about that. Maybe it's better to set up a website for NeXplorer with your skin packs and help contents. Do you know a good hosting service?

I will look into this... I have some space that I may be able to use for it. We can figure something out. I will let you know. I think a website is a good idea. I will be done with school tommororw (I am a teacher and school is out for the summer!) so I will have a lot more time to work on skins and other things. Yeah!

Yes, I got it, and Win2K told me that SHELL32.dll does not have SHparseDisplayName.

Is there any other application entry point that your APP is using which Win2K is not supporting?

If possible to make static link version, this APP may run on Win2K.

Hope you will make Win2K version of this nice and super duper APP.

ive noticed something.... i dont know if youve covered this in your previous versions (ive searched and found nothing), but:

when i push control+alt+delete windows task manager does come up but the tabs, the file menu and everything disappears except the window that displays the applications running. so now i cant choose to see my processes or my performance. is this only on my computer or does anyone else get this?

one thing just happened to me...

i highlighted a bunch of files and clicked the Del button, and the app quit on me... kind of like how it was described a page back or so... boom, gone. i believe they said it was still in their taskbar, though. not mine, the app and process completely turned off.

also, i just turned it back on and highlighted the same files again (when it turned off, it didn't delete the files), i tried right clicking to select the delete from the menu, and it too turned off the app.
