just delete the folder. Rewind v4 will come when it´s ready.

Cool Skin Moshi!

a borderless skin would be no problem. after all it´s not really borderless (the shadows).

what you want is currently impossible though. there are no sizing margins for the skin images, so the the round corners (and basicly everything that looks fugly when fully stretched) can not be done yet. maybe Andreas will add that someday. sizing margins and styles (as tile/stretch) would be cool for skinning.

Whatya mean with sizing margins for skin images?

Tile/Stretch might be in next version :D Gimme some time ;)

defining areas on the left/right/top/bottom of images that do not get stretched.

basicly the same idea as in having left_top.png or left_bottom.png. for images as top.png such definitions would be needed to make such borderless skins possible. or to do things like this:

I see, well basically the left_top and right_top can be used for this. If everything is ok, you can give them any size.

About the bug you mentioned 'bout the caption: it's not really a bug, more a feature ;)

CaptionLeft etc are percentages. I will add an option to make it absolute values in the next version.

@Bolero: Are you sure it's time that is in the bag? It looks more like patatoes to me :P

good to know. thanks for the info. so hispanicboy can do the skin as he wants. lot´s of possibilities with that.

i'd love to do the skin but have ZERO skinning skills, ithat's why i was asking (begging) you to take a stab at it. :) your work is stunning and i know you could tackle this. :)

come on. don´t give up before trying. that stuff is far away from rocket science. especially when you already have all the images you need from the Brushed skin.

start like this:

- edit left_middle.png and cut away the brushed part of it, so you only have the shadow part. the image should now be 7 pixels less wide.

- open values.ini. search for the

section. change these settings:


InActiveWidth=22
Width=22

so that they reflect the smaller image:


InActiveWidth=15
Width=15

- then right click on the apps titlebar and select the skin again, so you can see the effect of your changes.

- and so on. it´s pretty easy (it´s not that this would be LiteStep or Winamp modern) and can be quite satisfying.

don´t expect ports from me. i´m an arrogant elitist and consider that to be lame and boring...
